(Mora, MN) — Tax Season is inching closer and getting all of your necessary documents ready for older adults can be a difficult and confusing time to file correctly. The Seven County Senior Federation is here to help after speaking with Executive Director Lisa Krahn and their volunteers to prepare for a busy next few weeks.
In our conversation, Krahn says their tax preparation services are being guided by volunteers across all seven counties they serve
The volunteers are being trained in different tax preparation services for any given financial situations for older adults.
In order to prepare for your appointment, a tax collection packet will help in getting your documents together.
Krahn also mentioned to keep in mind if you received a stimulus check in 2021.
Tax Preparation Services are being offered for older adults in Aitkin County on Thursdays by appointment only at Aitkin Public Library, call to set an appointment at 218-549-3614.
