Severe Weather Awareness Week–Floods

R&J News continues its coverage of Severe Weather Awareness Week.  Today, our focus is on flooding.  Norman County Emergency Management Director Garry Johanson says there shouldn’t be worries about flooding this spring…..but you never can tell.

Johanson says Norman County has had more than its share of flooding over the years.

In fact, Norman County leads Minnesota in disasters, with 38 FEMA and state disasters since 1965.

On Thursday, our focus will turn to Minnesota’s Statewide Tornado Drill…which will take place at 1:45 and 6:45pm on Thursday.
