ADA, MN—The fire sirens rang twice within 24 hours in the City of Ada. At 9:30 Thursday morning, the sirens sounded for a ditch fire five miles north of Ada. The Ada Fire Department responded and put out the fire. Earlier, those sirens sounded around 11:30pm Wednesday….as firefighters responded to a grass fire north and west of Ada. It’s been determined both fires were intentionally set. Ada Assistant Fire Chief Shawn Roux shares a reminder from the Minnesota DNR that all of northwest Minnesota is under an extreme fire danger and all of Minnesota is restricted from open burning.
