Skaurud talks farm bill 

R&J Ag Reporter Nick Revier was in Orlando Florida earlier this week for the American Sugar Beet Growers Association Annual Meeting. The Farm Bill was a very popular topic at the event and Revier caught up with American Crystal Sugar Board of Directors President Perry Skaurud and he explained what kind of improvements he’d like to see in a new farm bill. 

Skaurud says that insurance will also play a major role in the next Farm bill and says that it is very important for sugar beet producers across the region.
