Slow down, and move over for emergency vehicles 

During his visit on the KRJB Kaleidoscope this week, Ada Police Chief Steve Hager says they’ve recently had a few instances of drivers not following the state’s move over laws, and putting him and his officer in danger. Chief Hager reminds drivers to slow down and move over when emergency vehicles are on the side of the road. 

Hager says it’s also important for drivers to start slowing down earlier, as there have also been close calls between drivers and oncoming traffic. 

Finally, Hager says it’s important to slow down, as departments across the state are participating in the Minnesota Towards Zero Death speed campaign.
