Sons of Norway host monthly meeting and program

After battling some weather issues and rescheduling during the winter months the Sons of Norway Granland Lodge #240 in Fosston will be holding its April meeting on Thursday, April 13th at the Embassy Center in Fosston. The meeting will begin at 6:30 pm with the program to follow at 7:30 pm. The program will feature Loraine Jensen from Alexandria. Loraine is the founder of the American Association for Runic Studies and was appointed as a Fulbright Specialist to study runes in Sweden entitled “Viking Age Runic Studies”. Loraine will be sharing information on the Runic alphabet and the Kensington Runestone. Everyone is invited to come and hear Loraine on Thursday, April 13th at the Embassy Center on the corner of 3rd and Eaton in Fosston.
