Special Fertile City Council Meeting Thursday

FERTILE, MN—The Fertile City Council has called a special meeting for Thursday night at 7.  This meeting will quickly go into a closed session to develop or consider an offer for the sale of real property.  While the agenda doesn’t say which property is being discussed, it’s possible that the Fair Meadow Nursing Home would be discussed.  You’ll remember in January, representatives from Cornerstone Health Care in Bagley attended a Fertile City Council meeting and expressed interest in buying Fair Meadow–which is owned by the City of Fertile.  

Once the closed session is finished, the public meeting will reconvene.  Again, the special Fertile City Council meeting will be Thursday night at 7 at the Council Chambers. R&J News will have a reporter at the meeting and will have full coverage for you afterwards.
