Four teams remained on Monday and with Casselton getting the day off, the other three teams dueled for a chance at the remaining championship spot.

Park River got the bats going early and often with a 10-0 victory over Gwinner. Owen Brown had 2RBI from the leadoff spot to pace the Pirates offense while also pitching a complete game shutout.

The Pirates turned around to face Thompson less than an hour later. The epic pitchers duel remained tied at 1-1 between starters Grady Loiland for Thompson and Keegan Berg for Park River. Berg was lifted after 5+ innings for Jaxon Omdahl, who inherited two baserunners, but stranded them with a pair of strikeouts to retire the side.

Berg would finally untie the game with a go-ahead double in the bottom of the sixth inning, giving Jaxon Omdahl a chance to close it out in the seventh. The Tommies fought back with a walk and a Dex Avdem single, but Omdahl would strikeout Jacob Olson to end the game and send Park River to the championship round vs Casselton.
