Statewide Tornado Drill Thursday

Thursday’s focus on Severe Weather Awareness Week is tornados and the statewide tornado drills that will take place.  Norman County Emergency Management Director Garry Johanson tells us when the two tornado drills in Minnesota will take place.

Johanson reminds you that the tornado sirens will NOT sound to give an all clear notice.

As we’ve mentioned, the second statewide tornado drill will be at 6:45pm.  Johanson says the second drill will be for your family to make a plan for severe weather.

Severe Weather Awareness Week concludes on Friday with excessive heat.
