Stolen Car Arrest

MAHNOMEN, MN—Two men are in custody after Mahnomen County Sheriff’s Deputies found a stolen vehicle near Roy Lake Monday.  When the deputies approached the vehicle, they saw two suspects inside.  One fled on foot and was chased down; the other was arrested near the vehicle.  Deputies seized 11-point-7 grams of meth, along with drug paraphernalia, $4177 in cash and an AR style rifle.  28-year-old Darius Barnes of Onamia and 23-year-old Alejandro Sanchez of Mahnomen were arrested and booked into the Tri-County facility where they are awaiting charges.
