Strong Showing For Two Win-E-Mac Robotics Teams at State Competition

Two Middle School Win-E-Mac teams placed 5th and 6th respectively in the VEX IQ Challenge at the State Robotics competition at the River’s Edge Convention Center in St. Cloud. Their team names were the Winger Whippets and the Mentor Trojans. The competition took place the first weekend in March. On last week’s Win-E-Mac School News K-12 Principal Kevin McKeever talked about how challenging the Robotics competition is.

The VEX IQ Challenge ia presented by the Robotics Education & Competition Foundation. It provides elementary and middle school students with robotics and research project challenges that enhance their science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) skills through hands-on, student-centered learning.
