Sugarbeet Update 

With the sugarbeet growing season now underway, most producers have shifted their focus over to weed management. Dr Tom Peters of NDSU Extension says despite great conditions early in planting, producers have been left with a real challenge when it comes to weed management. 

Peters says two weeds that have been especially challenging to producers is Kochia, and waterhemp. 

Another weed that has started showing its head is the common ragweed, and Peters shares some advice on how producers should manage it.
