Swenby wins Minnesota State Triple A Award

It was a big week last week for Fertile Beltrami Senior Caiden Swenby. On top of playing in the Minnesota State Basketball Tournament, he was also this year’s recipient of the Minnesota Class A Triple A Award, which is an award given to a student who succeeds in Academics, Arts and Athletics. Swenby tells how it feels to be named this year’s winner. 

Swenby also walked us through the unique way he learned he was this year’s winner.

To win the Triple A Award you have to be very involved in your school and community and Swenby explains why he thinks it’s important to be involved in your school and community. 

Swendy’s future plans are to attend the University of Minnesota Crookston, where he will pursue a career in Exercise Science. He will also be on the University’s basketball team.
