If you’re going to be driving some distance over the Thanksgiving holiday, here’s some good news for your wallet.  Gas prices are falling across the region.  The average price for a gallon of unleaded gas is $2.89 in Minnesota.  A year ago at this time, the price was $3.11 a gallon.  Brynna Knapp with AAA Minnesota Public Affairs tells us why the price of gas is going down.

Meanwhile, in North Dakota, the average price for a gallon of unleaded gas is now $2.93…with the lowest in the state in Grand Forks at $2.74 a gallon…and the highest in Bismarck at $3.04 a gallon.

AAA is projecting a record 79.9 million people will be traveling 50 miles or more over the Thanksgiving holiday period.
