Thanksgiving Gas Prices Lower In Region
If you’re going to be driving some distance over the Thanksgiving holiday, here’s some good news for your wallet. Gas prices are falling across the region. The average price for a gallon of unleaded gas is $2.89 in Minnesota. A year ago at this time, the price was $3.11 a gallon. Brynna Knapp with AAA Minnesota Public Affairs tells us why the price of gas is going down.
Meanwhile, in North Dakota, the average price for a gallon of unleaded gas is now $2.93…with the lowest in the state in Grand Forks at $2.74 a gallon…and the highest in Bismarck at $3.04 a gallon.
AAA is projecting a record 79.9 million people will be traveling 50 miles or more over the Thanksgiving holiday period.
