This week is Poison Prevention Week 

Its National Poison Prevention Week, and Safe Kids Grand Forks is teaching parents the importance of proper storage. Carma Hanson of Safe Kids Grand Forks tells us more about the importance of proper storage for families with young children in the house. 

When it comes to storing toxic chemicals with children in the house, Hansen says the best practice you can do as a parent or guardian is “out of sight, out of mind”.

Lastly Hansen talked about some things in your home that are considered poison, so that you can make sure you’re storing them properly in your home.
