Thompson wins North Dakota State B Legion Championship over LaMoure
Thompson downed LaMoure 10-0 in 6-innings to win the North Dakota State B Legion Tournament on Monday afternoon in Park River.
Brayden Wolfgram went 3-3 with 2 runs scored and 2 RBI, while Kaden Loiland went 1-3 for 3 RBI for Thompson.
Jeromy Tyce picked up the win in the state title. Tyce pitched 5 innings, giving up 3 hits, 1 walk and 3 strikeouts.
LaMoure beat Park River 4-0 in an elimination contest earlier in the day to qualify for the state championship.
