Timing to be key in preventing Cercospora leaf spot

Sugarbeet producers are starting to put together their plans for the spring planting season, and one thing all producers will be trying to do is prevent Cercospora leaf spot from infecting their crop. American Crystal Sugar General Agronomist Joe Hastings says timing will be key this year in getting ahead of Cercospora leaf spot. 

Many producers are worried about Rhizoctonia root rot this year as well, and Dr Ashok Chanda explains why, and how it may affect other crops besides sugarbeets.
