Tommy Larson Breaks Record heading into Playoffs
The Vikings Boys Basketball team finished their regular season on a historic note going into the Section 7A playoffs on Friday, February 28th.
Senior Guard Tommy Larson went into the game only needing 5 points to break the career scoring record set by Kathlee Kennedy in 2015, 2505 career points. Tommy Larson would end up scoring 50 points for the Vikings and smash the record that now belongs to him, 2551 career points.

That 50 points by Larson, of course, helped the Viking blow past Cook County 107-65. Three other Vikings players scored double-digits as Jax Sullivan had 18 points, AJ Knaeble scored 15, and Levi Thydeen had 11. The Section 7A Bracket is now set and LBF receives the #4 seed, and will play Chisholm Wednesday in Littlefork at 6pm.

I spoke with Tommy after the game, and apologize for the audio quality.
