Town Hall held in Fosston regarding Essentia Health Dispute 

A town hall meeting hosted by Essentia Health was held at the Fosston High School on Wednesday night regarding the ongoing dispute between Essentia and the City of Fosston. Fosston Mayor Jim Offerdahl gives an update on the dispute and where they’re at in the termination process. 

Offerdahl also gave his takeaway from the meeting, and highlighted some of the things brought up by the community. 

Offerdahl says there were also questions and discussions regarding the survey that went out to Fosston are residents, and Offerdahl tells us what was said by the Essientia Executives. 

Finally, Offerdahl says the ultimate goal of the split is to bring back local governance of the hospital, and he explains why this is important.
