Traill District Health brings Hidden in Plain Sight to Hillsboro

Parents gathered at the Traill County Courthouse on Wednesday afternoon for an educational exhibit powered by Traill District Health Unit to learn about potential signs of vaping products in their children’s rooms. Tobacco Prevention Coordinator Kelly Radebaugh speaks to the benefits of the event.

Traill County Treasurer Carla Swanson found one everyday item to be even more stunning than the rest.

While the age to purchase nicotine products is 21, kids have found other ways to get their hands on these devices.

Radebaugh notes how important it is for parents to be aware of these methods in order to keep their children safe.

The Hidden in Plain Sight exhibit debuted at the library in Mayville and Radebaugh expects to share it with Traill County Schools.
