(Brainerd, MN) — Continued work on tree limbing and brush cleaning will highlight the work for the Crow Wing County Highway Department this week.

County maintenance crews will perform tree limbing on CSAH 45 (13 St. in Brainerd) today and Wednesday and on CSAH 3 (Mill Avenue Brainerd) Thursday and Friday. Crews will also cut brush and overhanging branches on CSAH 3 in the Velvet Beach area of Mission Township, Tuesday and leaning trees on CSAH 4 and County Road 137, in Lake Edward Township Friday.

Maintenance crews may be working in the drive lane and on the shoulders simultaneously, creating the need to close one or more lanes of traffic. Signing, flaggers, or portable traffic lights will control the traffic flow through these work areas. For further information on the county highway system, or to report a roadway issue, please contact the Highway Department at 218-824-1110 or visit www.crowwing.us.
