Twin Valley Man convicted of sexual conduct in plea deal 

A Twin Valley man accused of sexually abusing a child under his care took a plea deal in Norman County Court last Friday. 

57 year old Juan Carlos Garza, of Twin Valley pleaded guilty under an Alford plea to 3rd Degree Criminal sexual conduct.  In an Alford plea, the defendant does not admit guilt, but acknowledges a jury would likely convict based on the presented evidence.

Garza is scheduled to be sentenced on Thursday, November 20 in front of the Honorable Annie P. Claesson-Huseby.
