UMC Enrollment Rises

CROOKSTON, MN—The University of Minnesota-Crookston campus might seem a bit crowded these days because enrollment is at a record high. For the second consecutive year, the University of Minnesota-Crookston has set a record with 1896 students seeking degrees this fall…with about two-thirds of those students attending classes online.  UMC also welcomed 445 new students this fall, with 216 coming from high school, 229 transfer students and 13 new certificate students.  UMC Chancellor Mary Holz-Clause says students are choosing UMC “because they see the value in what we offer and believe this is the right place to invest in our future.”
