United Beet Seed holding multiple trials across Red River Valley 

The Sugarbeet Pre Harvest is underway, and is expected to ramp up in a couple weeks, which also means that different trials across the Red River Valley will also start pulling beets for research purposes. Matt Kaufman of United Beet Seed says they have a ton of trials happening throughout the valley. 

Kaufman says they also have trails that cover a wide array of topics, including diseases like Rhizoctonia root rot, and Cercospora leaf spot. 

Kaufman was a guest on the KRJB Kaleidoscope, which airs Wednesday afternoons from 2:00 to 5:00 on 106.5 FM.
