Upcoming FSA Deadlines at End of January; Offices Still Operating Under Limited Hours

Polk County, MN – Nathan Peterson gave the weekly FSA Report on Thursday, January 6th. In the report, Peterson spoke about the upcoming deadlines for three disaster programs. On January 31st, the Livestock Forage program, ELAP Water Hauling program and ELAP Feed Transportation program will not accept anymore applications. The application process does include the application itself and all supporting documentation that must be turned in by the January 31st deadline. These program are to assist in reimbursement due to loss during the grazing periods, such as the Livestock Forage program. Peterson explains the requirements.
The FSA offices are currently running on limited hours. Peterson highly recommends calling ahead to schedule an appointment. The East Polk office is only open Thursday and Friday, 8 A.M. to 4 P.M. Clearwater’s office is open Tuesday and Wednesday from 8 A.M. to 4:30 P.M. Beltrami is open five days a week from 8 A.M. to 4:30 P.M.
