USDA Added Producer Grant Program 

A grant opportunity will be available through the USDA soon, and businesses and procedures are encouraged to apply once applications are open. MN State Director of the USDA Rural Development program Collen Landkamer tells us more about this program called the Value Added Producer Grant Program. 

To get an idea for what kind of things this grant can be used on, Landkamer lists an example of a project the grant has funded. 

Landkamer says the application period for this grant is closed at this time, but she encourages producers to be on the lookout for this grant opening, and to apply when applications open.
