Veterans Encouraged to meet with local Veterans Service Officer

Veterans Benefits are always changing, which means that veterans should be regularly meeting with their county’s Veterans Service Officers. Polk County Veterans Service Officer Kurt Ellefson says this time of year is a great time to reach out to your VSO and re-apply for benefits, if you have been turned down in the past.

Vietnam Veterans Day was last weekend, and Ellefson takes a moment to thank those veterans who served during the Vietnam War, and remind people that Memorial Day is fast approaching.
