Volunteer talks about experience on Honor Flight 

The Veterans Honor Flight of ND/MN recently took two planes full of Vietnam, and Korean War veterans to Washington DC for the trip of a lifetime. In attendance of the trip was Gail Kjenstad of the Red River Valley Motorcyclists who went as a volunteer. Kjenstad tells us more about his experience being able to assist veterans on this trip. 

While he’s not a veteran himself, Kjenstad said that it was a very humbling experience, and he told us about a moment from the trip that stood out to him. 

Lastly, Kjenstad encouraged area families to get the loved ones in their family who served, signed up to go on the Honor Flight.
