Homebuyers Are Willing To Purchase Haunted Houses
(Undated) — Turns out ghosts aren’t a deal-breaker for homebuyers. A Zillow survey found that 67-percent of prospective homebuyers would purchase a haunted house if it was in a good location, affordable or had other appeal. Ghosts are even a selling point for some potential buyers. Nearly 30-percent said they were more likely to buy a home if it was haunted. A population scientist at Zillow says ghosts don’t always “make the cut” when buyers are balancing many priorities in a market that lacks inventory.
