Watermark Art Center holding “Good Stories” Exhibit featuring the work of Naytahwaush artists
There’s a new exhibit at the Watermark Art Center in Bemidji that features the artwork of families that call the White Earth Reservation their home. Guest Exhibit Curator Kent Estey tells us more about the exhibit called “Good Stories”.
Estey says one goal of the exhibit was to highlight the work of artists, whose art is often never seen, or put in the spotlight.
Estey says the “Good Stories” exhibit features many different types of artwork, from traditional paintings, to expert beadwork.
The Good Stories Exhibit is open for viewing during the regular Watermark Art Center hours. The center is open Tuesday through Saturday from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
