Waubun-Ogema-White Earth School Board discusses 2026 budget 

The Waubun-Ogema-White Earth School Board had their first reading of their 2026 school budget. Waubun Superintendent Jordan Spaeth is excited to say that they have no surprises in next year’s budget, and that they’re in a good spot financially. 

Spaeth said the board also approved next year’s school calendar, and he went over some changes, and things to note. 

We’re also approaching the time of year where staff movements are announced, and Spaeth says they do have some staff positions they are looking to fill. 

Other agenda items from Wednesday’s meeting included the approval of summer rec fees, and administrative reports.
