Waubun Ogema White Earth School District ready for new year
The Waubun-Ogema-White Earth School Board called the school district’s general election for this November at their meeting on Wednesday. Waubun Superintendent Jordan Spaeth says there will be at least one new face on the board, and that he’s very happy to see a large amount of interest in serving the school district.
The Waubun-Ogema-White Earth School Board also approved fees for their school aged childcare, and Spaeth says that there will be no changes there. He also told us more about the program.
Finally Spaeth gave an update on a pair of roofing projects being done on campus buildings.
Other Items on the board agenda included the final reading of the school, chromebook, and Ogema handbooks, contract approval for non union staff, and a contract with Mahnomen County Sheriff’s office for resource officer services.
