Wednesday Severe Weather Awareness Week

We continue our look at Severe Weather Awareness Week in Minnesota.  Jim Kaiser with the National Weather Service in Grand Forks says Wednesday’s focus is on something we’re dealing with right now in the region: flooding.

Thursday’s focus will be on tornadoes….and here’s a reminder that Minnesota will have a statewide tornado drill on Thursday.  There will be a tornado siren at 1:45 pm and another at 6:45 pm.  This way you can plan for what to do while at work and also plan for what you and your family will do in case it’s a real tornado.
