Weird and Wacky Wednesday: “Florida caught with stolen rental car so that he can make Doordash deliveries”

A Florida man put his own spin on the old dine and dash by stealing a car so he could Doordash to help other people dine.  Olatunji Okuboye rented a Nissan Sentra from an Avis location way back in March of last year, but it took until this month for the manager of the Avis branch to notice that the car had never been returned. Cops finally caught up with him at the drive-thru of a Chick-Fil-A, where he confessed that he’d been using the ride to make his Doordash deliveries — even though he owned a perfectly good SUV. Okuboye was arrested for grand theft of an automobile. His bond was set at $5,000.
