Weird and Wacky Wednesday: “Musicians and Composers Helping Automakers with Car Sounds”

Automakers are now working with musicians and composers to help with creating pleasing alert systems — as well as in-cabin chimes and tones. For example, world famous film composer Hans Zimmer was involved in scoring sounds for BMW’s Vision M Next car. And, Atlanta-based electronic musician Richard Devine was brought in to help make the Jaguar I-Pace electric SUV sound like a purring cat.
