Weird and Wacky Wednesday: “Texas Woman didn’t want to go to WalMart, pulls gun”

A Texas woman is in jail on several charges, including aggravated assault, and it’s all because she didn’t want to go to Walmart.  Police responded to a call about a couple having an argument at Walmart and that a woman had a gun. She said they eventually got into a gold van and drove away. Cops were able to locate the van and pulled them over. The van was driven by 20-year-old Edgar Salazar, who told police that he wanted to go to Walmart but his girlfriend, Heaven Valenzuela, refused to go. She then pulled out a BB gun and threatened to shoot him if he went inside the store. Salazar says he took the gun away from her and they walked back to the van.  Police say there was also another man and three children inside the van, along with bags of marijuana, which Salazar said belonged to him. Valenzuela was arrested and charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, child endangerment, and possession of marijuana. Salazar was also arrested on the drug charge.
