Weird and Wacky Wednesday: “Wisconsin Cat drags home Alligator Head”

A Wisconsin woman was shocked when her cat, Toast, left a severed alligator head on her front lawn. Wendy Wiesehuegel says at first she thought Toast, who is known to hunt and bring things back to the house, had dragged a fish out of a nearby lake. But when she walked over to get a closer look at it, she realized what it was. They called in the local conservation warden to confirm that the alligator head was real. He says since gators are extremely rare in Wisconsin, it’s likely the large reptile was somebody’s exotic pet which either escaped, or was released into the lake. But he warns that without knowing for sure, locals have to be very careful in case there are other alligators in the lake.
