Well Over 100 Kids Participate in Annual Bike Rodeo & Bike Parade in Ada
Ada, MN — The City of Ada, Dekko Community Center, and Norman-Mahnomen Public Health held their annual Bike Rodeo and Bike Parade on a beautiful, sunny yesterday afternoon. 112 elementary kids from the Ada-Borup-West School District participated in activity on National Bike to School Day, along with numerous staff and volunteers. Kim Myers with Norman-Mahnomen Public Health say it gets a little chaotic with 100 kids on bikes, but overall the event was a great success.
Myers hopes that the kids had fun and hopefully continue to use those skills and safety tips as they ride throughout their life.
Eggen says it takes a lot of help from a lot of different people to make this event a success and she thanks those who contributed.
Two bikes were also given away at the conclusion of the Bike Rodeo and Parade. The winners were Nolan Smart and Scout Bergman.
