West Fargo’s Katelyn Kackman delivers go-ahead 3 in 100-96 AA All Star Victory

Fargo- The AA All Stars rebounded on night two of the 49th annual Lions All-Star Series with a 100-96 victory over Class A/B in a track meet-like game.

Bismarck Century’s Zoie Austin led the way with 23pts and 9rebs combined with Bismarck Legacy’s Brooklyn Felchle and her 20pt, 11reb double-double. Their 2nd half run erased a 49-43 A/B lead at halftime.

All 12 players scored for a second straight night on the Class A/B team. Northern Cass’ Haidyn Crockett scored 19pts. TGU’s Ashley Martodam and Bowman County’s Sophia Headley each added 17.

The teams battled back and forth in the late stages of the game, tied at 94 with 1:15 left when West Fargo’s Katelyn Kackman stepped into a right wing three to go up 97-94. Brooklyn Felchle would close the game out with two clutch free throws to end the series in a 1-1 tie.
