West Polk Soil and Water 2025 projects 

R&J Ag Reporter Nick Revier was at the 42nd Annual Red River Basin Summit Commission, and had the opportunity to catch up with Nicole Bernt of West Polk Soil and Water Conservation District, who told us what projects the District is working on in 2025. 

Bernt also told us more about the West Polk Soil and Water Conservation District, and the different concerns they have in their service area. 

Lastly Bernt highlighted some other ways they’ve managed water in the past, and will continue to do so on other bodies of water across their district.
