Western MN Steam Threshers Reunion continues in Rollag
The Western MN Steam Threshers Reunion kicked off yesterday at Rollag. This year, the Steam Threshers are featuring “horsepower” as they highlight the horses. R&J News was at Steamer Hill on Friday and had a chance to catch up with longtime Steam Threshers member Kee Groshong from Columbia, Missouri. Groshong says he and his family started with horses.
Groshong says it’s great to get back to ‘the beginning” with the horses as this year’s feature.
Groshong talks about the horse demonstrations that will be featured.
The Western Minnesota Steam Thresher’s Reunion continues through Labor Day Monday. The gate fee is $30 for a season pass (all 4 days) or $15 for a daily pass. Ages 14 and under are free with a paid adult
