Wind break programs available to producers looking to combat wind erosion 

Wind erosion is always a concern for many producers across North Dakota, and Northwest Minnesota, and many organizations are encouraging producers to plant more trees. Dr Angie Peltier of the University of Minnesota Extension tells us more. 

If you are worried about, or are suffering from Wind Erosion, Peltier says you should contact your local Soil and Water District, as they may have wind break planting programs available to you. 

Peltier says your local district may also have technology available to help you plant these wind breaks.
