Winger Woman charged with attempted murder
After a bar brawl at Little Bobby’s Bar and Grill in McIntosh on Sunday, a Winger woman is being charged with second degree attempted murder and first degree assault after stabbing the male victim at least 14 times.
An official motivation behind the stabbing has not been released, but the victim of the stabbing reportedly assaulted another man in the bar before the stabbing took place. After being thrown out of the bar, the victim also assaulted the father of the man he assaulted earlier.
After these assaults took place, a woman who has been identified as 19-year old Jayden Ray of Winger exited the bar and stabbed the victim at least 14 times, including punctures to the face, arm, and back. In total, medical experts at Essentia Health in Fosston say that the victim received at least 20 stab and laceration wounds from the encounter.
The victim of the stabbing survived the stabbing and is receiving care at Essentia Health in Fosston. Ray is being held at Tri County Community Corrections in Crookston, and was booked on Sunday, January 14.
