Winter Sports Preview – FHS Boys Hockey & Girls Basketball

With the 24-25 winter season just around the corner, the Bronco Boys Hockey team are getting their preseason work in with practices led by the team’s captains.

The three were asked what have been the main focuses of these Captain’s Practices.

And what are the personal focuses for them individually?

Then, we asked the three leaders about the goals for this Hockey season.

As well as who were the underclassmen that have been showing sparks.

Finally, they were asked about the games on the schedule they were excited about.

At the same time, another Bronco team wrapping up their captain’s practice on Friday is the Girls Basketball team.

The three players were asked what they were looking forward to for this new season.

They then talked about what will be the things worked on during this week’s Captain’s Practice.

Cheznee Skrien was then asked if them being a younger team will be a strength for their squad.

Thinking of last season, what will be the keys to success for this season?

And when asked about the teams they look forward to playing, we ended up talking about the Borderland Battle against Littlefork.

Then they were asked about the younger girls who will make an impact.

We then asked the two Juniors if the thought of next year being their last ever dawned on them.
