With deer season almost here, hunters encouraged to buy their license early

The Minnesota deer rifle season kicks off next weekend, and this year will be the first season under the new e-licensing system. In order to avoid potential delays in getting your license, the Minnesota DNR is urging all hunters to get their license purchased as soon as possible. DNR Wildlife Supervisor Rob Baden tells us more.

Baden says hunters should also be aware of the new harvest registration system as well.

More information regarding the new licensing system or the upcoming deer rifle season can be seen on the DNR website dnr.state.mn.us.
