Youth Water Safety Reminders 

Lake season is underway in Minnesota, and SAFE Kids Grand Forks is reminding parents about the importance of life jackets. Carma Hanson of SAFE Kids Grand Forks says all children in a boat need to be wearing a life jacket according to Minnesota and North Dakota Law. 

As for other water safety reminders, Hanson says it’s also important for parents to know the water condition before their kids enter the water.
