115th Annual Clearwater County Fair is August 3rd through 7th
Bagley, MN — The 115th Annual Clearwater County Fair gets underway this week in Bagley, MN. The free-gate fair runs Wednesday, August 3rd through Sunday, August 7th with numerous grandstand events, 4-H activities, carnival, food, and free music. There will be grandstand events every day and even multiple events on certain days. Curt Nyegaard, Secretary/Manager of the Clearwater County Fair, says entertainment in the grandstand includes everything from motocross and demo derby to horse shows and corgi racing.
The Clearwater County 4-H will be quite busy during the fair with various judging and shows each and every day. But one judged event on Thursday is quite a departure from anything associated with 4-H. With the resurgence of craft beer and spirits, Nyegaard says they will have a homemade beer, wine, and liquor judging event at 5pm.
Not only is the Clearwater County Fair a free-gate fair, but there are lots of free and affordable ways to enjoy it. Wednesday night is the Wristband night, where you can get unlimited rides for just $20.
Nyegaard also invites fairgoers to take in some free entertainment at the Stage in the Pines.
