2022 Road Improvement Projects for Crow Wing County

(Brainerd, MN) — In 2022, the Crow Wing County highway Department is scheduled for approximately $12 million worth of road improvements for CSAHs, County Roads, and unorganized territory town roads in the First Assessment District and Second Assessment District.

Reconstruction will take place on CSAH 49 (Wise Road) / CSAH 5 (Beaver Dam Road) – a roundabout will be constructed at the intersection. Wise Road will be closed to through traffic during construction. TH 371, TH 210 and CSAH 3 (Mill Ave.) will be the detour route.

Resurfacing/Rehabilitation of roads will happen on CSAH 8 from the Morrison County line to TH 18, CSAH 45 from the Morrison County line to CSAH 2, CR 113 from CSAH 51 to CSAH 2, CR 117 from TH 371 to CSAH 45, CR 131 from TH 371 to CSAH 45, CR 138 from CSAH 2 to TH 169, FAD Roads – Sorenson Lake Rd., Landmark Dr., River Ridge Dr., Hartley Dr., Heritage Rd., Indigo Rd., Shellisa Lane and Carolyn Lane.

Other Projects in 2022 for Crow Wing County include CSAH 45 bridge replacement at the Nokasippi River crossing. CSAH 45 will be closed to through traffic during construction. CSAH 2, CSAH 21 and CR 131 will be the detour route. Dean Lake Road in the Second Assessment District – culvert/bridge replacement. Left Turn Lane Installations at CSAH 3/Legionville/Executive Acres, CSAH 3/CR 127, CSAH 3/CR 118, CSAH 4/CSAH 18 and CSAH 16/CSAH 39. CR 115 – select tree clearing for utility relocation work. Annual Pavement Markings – county-wide striping of roadways Annual Seal Coat Program – surface treatments to selected county and FAD roadways Centerline Rumble Strips on various roadways.
