3 Injured In Accident Near Northern Cass School
Three people were injured, two seriously, in a two vehicle head-on collision Friday morning near the Northern Cass School. The North Dakota Highway Patrol says the crash happened at 8am Friday, a half mile west of Northern Cass. A Hyundai Santa Fe was going west on Cass County Road 26 and a Toyota RAV4 was eastbound on the same road. The Santa Fe crossed into the eastbound lane and hit the RAV4. The driver of the Santa Fe, a 41-year-old woman from Fargo, sustained serious injuries and was taken to a Fargo hospital. She has also been charged with criminal vehicular injury, possession of meth and possessing drug paraphernalia.
The driver of the RAV4, a 54-year-old woman from Galesburg, had minor injuries and was taken to a Fargo hospital. And a passenger in her SUV, a juvenile from Hope, had serious injuries. The juvenile was also taken to a Fargo hospital.
Cass County Road 26 was closed for about four hours Friday while the accident scene was investigated. The North Dakota Highway Patrol is still investigating the crash.
