3rd Annual Guns N Hoses – Wild 3rd Leads to OT Win for IFFD

In International Falls, last night was the 3rd Annual Guns N Hoses Charity Hockey Game in Bronco Arena! The two teams would put on a barn burner of a game as Team Fire Department would win it 8-7 in overtime. Team Law Enforcement was leading at the start of period three 5-1 when Team Fire would score 6 goals in a row to take a 7-5 lead late in the game. Team Guns would then take advantage of a 5v3 power play to score two goals in under two minutes to tie it back up. In overtime, Wyatt Boyum of the IFFD would score his hat trick goal to get the win 1:21 into the extra period.

Team Guns was led by Michael Bounds of the Koochiching County Sheriffs Office with 2 goals and an assist, and Chad Shikowski of Border Patrol had 3 assists.

Team Hoses was led by the dynamic duo of Boyum and Chase Bernard as Boyum had his hat trick 3 goals and an assist, and Bernard had a goal and 3 assists.

Team Hoses now leads the series 2-1, and all proceed from the game went to ISD 361 athletic department.
